So… “PURPOSEFUL PLAY” leads to school readiness.

But…what is “Purposeful Play?”

Purposeful Play are activities that promote exploration, collaboration, learning from mistakes, inventing, and investigating.

Example of an actual Goodlettsville Church of Christ MDO purposeful playtime: The staff provided the children with ice cubes, cups, and water. The children learned to cool their water with cubes of ice, how the ice melts in the sun and in their hands, how the ice floats in the water, as well as manual manipulation of slippery ice and flowy water—They stayed engaged and were joyful to completion of water & ice lessons.

Never under estimate the power of PLAY!
