Jesus said, "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. "If desire to raise up and personally connect with those who have a God-given passion for spreading the Gospel in many places around the world.  It is true that this church has a legacy of supporting missionaries, but Harvest seeks to connect the members of this church more closely with good works and to inspire all of us to answer the call to go or send workers into the field.

We believe that God is working to reach people that we may never see in many places.  We also believe that our lives are changed and we grow as disciples and a church when we answer the call.  Harvest is the primary way to Goodlettsville church seeks to fund an expanded global outreach effort.  It is an important step in obeying the Great Commission and fulfilling out vision as a church to make and grow disciples of Jesus.

 

There are four outreach points that have been targeted for 2025.  We will continue to support the work of Baja Missions as we sponsor Brother Xavier Franco, who preaches in Zorrillo, Baja in Mexico.  We will continue to support Brother Don Iverson and his work in India.  What is new are the two works as we look to be involved in church planting and development in Honduras and serve to strengthen the church in Kona Hawaii.

Harvest Sunday is scheduled for October 20th, 2024.  Our goal is to raise $30,000 on that day to fund these efforts.  It is imperative that we continue this chruch's legacy partnering with effective mission efforts that changes lives and plants churches around the world.  We are a local church, but we are also part of a great Kingdom that has a great mission.  I hope that you will pray about your financial involvement in helping this family accomplish this goal.
