Mother’s Day Out

Children are a heritage from God…

… and parents have a sacred responsibility to raise children to honor the Lord, His Word, and His creation.  The purpose of our Mother’s Day Out Program is to provide a Christian atmosphere to support parents in training their children as they grow physically, socially, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.  Our aim is to create a positive learning environment that is nurturing, caring, secure, and engaging.

Most young children bring a natural curiosity and wonder about their world to the childhood setting. Our teachers work within a flexible curriculum framework designed to meet the needs and interests of the group and of the individual child. Each child is valued and guidance will be provided to help each child reach his or her full potential through a variety of  purposeful activities.

Eligibility

Our program is designed for children between 6 months and five years of age (prior to entering Kindergarten).  Eligibility shall be granted without discrimination in regard to sex, color, or political belief on a first come, first serve basis. Any child of this age range is eligible provided the program can meet the needs of the child and if there is space available as determined by the Director.

purposeful play

“Purposeful Play” means engaging in activities that promote exploration, collaboration, learning from mistakes, inventing, and investigating. It is a great tool that allows our children to stay engaged and joyful as they learn about the world around them.

Stepping Stones

Our goal while teaching is to prepare your child for Kindergarten. Our teachers encourage learning through monthly themes to master letters, numbers, shapes, colors, motor development, sensory awareness and basic life skills.

Biblical Foundation

As a parent of a young child you also long for a good Christian environment that will love and nurture your child while you are able to tackle some of the demands of parenthood. Our program has daily Bible lessons, prayer, singing, and various volunteer opportunities to lay the groundwork of a Biblical foundation for your child.
